My daughter, Corrie,
ordered a Faith Basket for me right after my Dad went home to be with the
Lord. She thought it might cheer me up, and she was right. It was
just what I needed at a really tough time in my life. I know my Dad is in
heaven, but as I was one of his main caregivers for the past two years, there
was now a huge hole in my daily life. The book "The Passion of Jesus
Christ" shows how great God's love is for us, and all Jesus did for us, a thing
my Dad made sure my sisters and I knew well from the time we were little.
The cross reminds me that because of Jesus' great love for us, I will see my Dad
again when I go home. The rest of the things, the bear, the candle, and
the body butter, were to comfort me. They showed such a sweetness in the
maker of the gift basket, and in what my daughter wanted for me, and they
touched me deeply. This is such a nice way to show someone you care about
them, no matter what the occasion. To the maker of the basket at Hands of Worship Gifts, thank you
for your caring and sensitivity. And to my daughter, you have a very kind
heart and a gentle spirit, and I love you very much.
